We got some free ski tickets and made one run down the mountain. My wife's boots didn't fit her anymore so I brought the gear to the car and sold the tickets for $20 bucks a piece. We then went in search of french onion soup and clam chowder. On the way we visited the grave of John Brown( I never knew he was white and never knew he was buried in Lake Placid) It was a nice homestead and I learned some of our history. We then went to the top of the 120m ski jump(jumpers travel 120m off this thing!) I used to jump there as a kid, but the biggest jump I did was the 40m. We had a few snowball fights and then went to the town of Lake Placid for a book and a fishing lure. After that we had some soup in Saranac Lake(town), did some shopping and then went fishing. Back at our inlaws we took her grandma for Chinese and hung out with family and friends. It is amazing how much fun we can have when we get a chance. Have a good one!
