Hi everyone!!! Hopefully others were able to enjoy the warmer weather today also. I've been under the weather for quite some time and finally getting some strength back to hunt a bit. I've had my eye on this old piece of property for some time. BIG CORNER LOT! Last Sunday I saw that there was a truck in the drive and I told Larry to go back and stop. I knocked on the door and told the owner who I was and that I had played in his yard when I was a kid. Drooling while talking..... I asked if we could detect his yard. YES!!! He didn't have a problem with it at all. In fact, he said, "We probably wouldn't find much". So thinking "We wouldn't find much"...., we went there today for a SHORT time and I came home with a few goodies. First find was the 1902 V-nickel (my second v-nickel ever) and along side of that was the 1906 Barber dime. Shortly after that was another silver 1918-S Merc. dime. I only found 1 wheat cent and that was a 1928. What a great time and I can't wait to go back again. Larry found some nice finds also, 2 silver dimes in that yard and then a 1901 Barber quarter in a couple yards down the street. What a great day. We'll be back!!! Thank you for looking.... HH to all!!!! Nancy
