Nices finds Bill, especially that cut silver. I went out for a bit Friday, only got a smashed confederate bullet. Woods were still thick, spider webs and mosquitoes.

Thanks guys. That was about 6 hours of swinging & diggin'. If trash made cash it would have been a heck of a day. I, we, need to hit a hot spot. Speaking of spiders and such, I damn near steppped smack on top of a copperhead this morning. It was the fattest, longest copperhead I've seen in these parts. That episode today put me in mind of ole Calabash. It was in the cool of the morning and when I stepped down in front of him he drew back, not to strike but to get out of my way. I guess he was too cold too move very fast. But I sure wasn't. I ain't moved that fast since Pop was chasing me with a switch back in the day. There ya go, another relic hunting memory.

Im tired of snakes! lol nice finds looks like part of a real to me too nice. We went to a couple places today just knowing something good was gonna be there nothing but trash yeah it was one of those days.Ive got a real posted in todays find you can look at it and see if you can match it up.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) that's about all I got time to do lately is ponder on old relic hunting memories. LOL Gonna be in Virginia first week of next month. Maybe i'll make a few more memories. Good luck all of you guys. Appreciate your posts.
