Larry was wanting to go old coin hunting and I wanted to hit a few tot lots. Needless to say, we went to playgrounds. :cheekkiss: Oh, he got his reward. :stars: He'll post it on the Vision forum and you have to check it out. I had my BigFoot coil on so I could get up close to the posts. I found a few junk charms and a good amount of clad. The best find was this cache of quarters buried. 16 quarters in the chips. That's my biggest cache I've ever found. :bouncy: What a great day! Oh, here's a pic of Larry and the digger (General) just shortly after he found his "reward". Larry was mighty happy that he brought his camera along and the decision to go to the tot lots! Thanks for looking and HH to all, Nancy

That's AWESOME:clapping: You guys did great. How old is that Tot Lot just curious since Larry found such an old coin?

Thanks! The playground isn't all that old. The gold coin was only 3" down. Our guess is that a child got into their parents old coins. I would hate to be around when they found it was missing. HH to all, Nancy
 
It sure was nice to get out Dennis. We had some sunshine and temps in the lower 60's. I did find a 1963 one shilling at the same playground where Larry found his gold coin. I'm very happy for Larry. It's because of me that he found it. And that I will NEVER let him forget. :rofl:......:rofl:........:rofl: HH to all, Nancy

Thanks Bob, the Vision is pretty much a DFX on steroids....a LOT of them. :laugh: You find your way to the Midwest, and we will buy you Prime rib and crab legs too. :thumbup:

Fred, Don't know if we'll be going out today or not. If so, we'll have to wear our heavy warm clothes. It's windy and very cold with rain and then snow coming later on. This Illinois weather stinks. HH, Nancy
