Finally got out after a long Ohio winter

Wanted to post a pic here for MM of my weekend diggings out of West Virginia. My first trip of the season and hopefully not my last...work has been keeping me busy. Got some 69's, .57 minies, roundballs,Sharps, one Enfield, a Burnside, a Cosmopolitan and some pistol bullets and balls. Lots of camplead and assorted what'zits.

bigger than mine and Randy's. We had a great time but that hot wred durt is tough. Those boys with the $$$$$ Minelabs cleaned up. Lots of CS buttons, a few Yankee plates, tons of CS bullets dug. All very deep, out of range for MXT. We watchd Greg B dig bullets 15-18 inches down that would not make a peep on my MXT or Randys Garrett. He got 30 and more each day, VA button, Block I button and a breast plate too. If I hit the lottery I could get one of those babys. Randy and I got a handfull anyway and I got a curry comb.
