After days of 92 -101 degrees, rain and than days with temps in the 40's with sleet and 60 - 70 mile an hour winds. Today 51 cloudy with little wind. It was just soooo good to be swinging the AT again.
Went to a soccer field and game after game was going on with little people playing. Finally one field opened and went to detect. No one there all the people over on the other side of the park. I will hit that field tomorrow. Thanks for looking... Happy Trails.....Z

The truth... I got a penny signal and got down on one knee and there right in front of me the dollar bill all folded up. I probably wouldn't of seen it if I hadn't stopped to dig that penny.. Another reason to dig those pennies. Thanks guys... HH ....Z

Ok, up north I know you keep telling me about the pennies. I guess I would miss the sore knees,arms, hurting back and total exhaustion from digging so many targets?
My coin count would be 371 if I didn't pick up those pennies. Instead my coin count is now at 1243. I am trying to get 6,000 coins this summer. Does it matter if they are all pennies? Or does it matter if they are bigger coin amounts? All I know is there is pleasure in finding and digging coins. A penny or a gold coin? All I know I would have never gotten down on me knee for a gold coin. Because I haven't found one yet. So I just enjoy going out and digging these surface coins. Coming home with a handful of dirty coins that I can count and clean. It is all in the game of metal detecting.
I know, I know up north just kidding my friend. :beers: Metal detecting has turned my retirement in something very much better than what it was. So I am grateful to be getting out there with friends and digging up coins. Thanks guys. Happy Trails....Z
