Finally got one near the top of my wish list

It's an odd coin to have near the top of your "wish list" of finds, but it's there because I have never dug a barber quarter..until now. Barber dimes are a fairly common find here. Seated dimes and quarters also pop up from time to time. But the barber quarter has eluded me. I found this one at a late 1800's/ early 1900's property at around 9 inches deep. I was on my way home from a day of dissapointing hunting and decided to stop and get permission. I made a few quick passes to test the waters, knowing I would come back later and do a thorough job when I had more time. On the way back to the car I got a good solid deep sweet tone that stopped me in my tracks. I can't wait to return and grid that place. Thanks for looking, JJ

Awesome find J J, I found my first one at the end of last year a 1914 , they are a sweet looking coin,
congrats, good luck when you go back to that site,:beers:

Still looking for my first barber quarter . .

Nice find, thanks for sharing and HH!

Congratulations to you JJ on the Barber Quarter. It is in
great shape too. Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

I just found my First Barber Quarter 1902

It was near the top of my Wish List

Your Quarter is in Great Shape

And How many Seated Quarters have you found?

Thank you for the replies, I don't post finds nearly as much as I should but this one really got my blood flowing. I greatly appreciate the time others take to post their finds regularly as it motivates me to get out and hunt when I can find the time.

Banditicy: I found two seated q's before I got my first barber quarter. The seated's were a 76' plain and a 77' CC. Thanks again, JJ

Nice coin! Congrats on hitting the top of your list . I've found a total of 29 Barber quarters and have yet to dig my first seated. That's one of the coins at the top of my list.

Congrats on your first Barber JJ.:clapping: If you found that walking back to your car then there has to be more waiting for you and maybe even some seated. HH.
