Finally Got My First IH with the CTX!! Some Silver Too!!

Hi All!!

Got out to an old abandoned church today. It seems like it was a penny day as I got a pocket full of wheats (12). I could not read much on the pennies as I pulled them from about 5-8 in down. When I got home and started cleaning them up I noticed they were very old compared to what I usually get. These were anywhere from the teens to the thirties. As I was cleaning, I noticed one of the pennies was a 1908 IH!! Boy was I pumped!! I have never found on of these before.

I also found a nice silver religious medallion, a trade token, and a junk pin. I also dug about $2.00 in clad....

I guess the pin is not as junky as I thought! LOL!

Its krazy kat from the 20-30s...

Congratulations on your first IH:cheers: when I found my first one I had been digging zincs along a sidewalk and the dirt was very hard. Thought I was digging another zinc and got sloppy and ended up scratching the back of my first IH but I was still excited. You never forget the first one:detecting:

Nice finds!

Nice snag on that Injun - I love finding those old pieces of Americana as well - never know until you Google it!

Congrats on the new Ctx... I think you are going to have a lot more of these kind of days!!!
