Hello folks,

I never went to collage. I took my professional surveyor

Congratulations! I heard that BS stood for Bull "Stuff", MS stood for More "Stuff" and PhD stood for Piled Higher and Deeper. Keep going and we'll have to call you Dr. Tabdog.

Appropriate find, Tabdog.

You've definitely earned your PhD in detecting, and taught a lot of people tot lots 101!

Hey Tabdog: I don't have to dig that much trash in the tot-lots around here. It seems that other hunters are doing it for me. When I get a beep, it is usually a small rusted piece of iron or a good item deep. I don't get many coins as the other hunters keep them cleaned out with those yellow machines. With my bad hips that is just fine with me, just less digging for junk and the V is pretty quiet in all metal. Oh and my wife has taken the Comprade away from me and claimed it for her own. I guess I am going to have to get a 575 for the Silver or just use the V. It does well with the standard coil, but I like the 575 coil. Bill in Texas

Hey Tab experience and smarts beats a diploma any day. I never made it to college although I had intended on going. In my life I've held three different jobs that required from two to four years of college. Glad you finally got yours. :)

I had a roommate in college who often said that if you sent a jackass to school long enough, you could teach it to read. There are lots of examples of that theory running around. Some of them run large corporations - right into the ground.
