had to go way down by the cities it took all of an hour to get to the bank just to reset my password after that i went to the sports field and was wondering if the gate was opened, and yes it was no one on the field, I wondered it i would be thrown off because the grass was so nice i was almost afraid to detect it so I nervously got out the Compadre and put the TRX pinpoiter on my belt and set out into the fine green grass started getting hits right away tabs a few bottle caps and some foil but the earea was not trashy and soon coins where coming up regularly i would make sure i had them pinpointed really good and then cut a small slit and pop them out and make sure it was like before i dug I really was having a good time as its not every day i can get out , normally i just go to the hill of many nails and dig nails well it took about 15 minutes to find the 1st jewelry it was a braclet and was about 2" deep and the grass had grown all around it and thru it . I was pleased as this is one of those tabman spots and i think if I had stayed longer i very well may have found some better thing but had to go before the rush our started but the compadre was doing fine. at this spot .

It looks like you found a good spot to detect. I'd be back there in a heart beat.:detecting:

Hi Gunnar,

That spot beats "nail hill" by a long shot, nice find on the Canadian nickel, I've never found one. Are they steel clad?

Those finds beat nails every time.....well done on the bracelet too...I think I'd be paying it another visit. HH

Gunnar those nails are only good if you are repairing a barn. I think I would rather hunt the sports field. Nice finds....Z

Cool bracelet! Looks like one of those dimes is a '65. I hope you don't have the same curse I do. I swear I dig more '65's than any other date, always missing silver by a year :rage: Here's hoping that your next dime is a '64 or earlier.

Ohh I wish i could get back to that spot but it is an hour drive, and I had special permission to bowwor the car so its back to nail hill . By the way the Canadian nickel is a 1988 and is copper nickel no Iron y that spot is loaded lets put it this way their is 42 soccer fields to go over , but it was sure nice to hit it for even a short time . I suppose the 65 dimes got minted in the billions as they had to make way for silver to go out

Gunnar, some nice finds, its a shame the site is so far away, but at least you can see the potential of the site
