Finally - Gold with the Omega

Furious T

Have been using the Omega in all metal mode the last few outings and I couldn't make up my mind whether I was receiving any benefit from it. I did feel that I was understanding the Omega better, but wasn't making brilliant finds, and in some areas the noise from all the rubbish and iron nearly drove me nuts.
Took it out this morning to a park I (and many others) have hunted time and time again, but this was my first time there with the Omega in all metal mode. I found a mood ring, a .375 gold (3tone/3bands) ring (9k) and a number of coins totalling $9.62 plus 1 foreign coin (Asian) yet to be identified. I was stoked, as this was my first gold with the Omega.

As I said, I was hunting in all metal, A2 tones, sensitivity 79, 10" concentric coil and the gold read 61 on the meter. Hope you all had a great Christmas (it is 27th Dec. here)

Thanks Elton. It was about 1" to 2" down. Hit hard on the Omega. I thought it may have been one of our 20c coins, which also give a 61 signal.

Man, i cant wait to get mine
I hope it gets good depth through the snow :)

Neat find, congrats!---It's ALWAYS great finding gold---but even more so at todays prices.--------Del

Congrats on the gold!!

I found one of those last year with my F75 and it had one .925 silver band and two 14K gold bands....their called Russian wedding rings, google it and you'll find tons of them.

Always nice to find three for the price of one :bouncy:

Thanks Cal=Cobra, these were all marked 375 (9k), one yellow gold, one white gold, and one rose gold.....3 in 1 go is really nice.
