Finally GOLD with the CTX

You know it when you hear it....

6.4 grams of 14k - that's what I'm talking about..my FIRST gold with the CTX...finally........

Was just about chest deep at my favorite spot - I couldn't get out that deep until I got my new GG Underwater phones the other day.

It really takes the right set of phones to get that SWEET TONE of gold from deep in the water. I didn't need to see any screen - I just knew it...

I'm hitting all my favorite spots NOW.

Great to find gold in the water. Do you have a techniqe for using your scoop in that deep of water to recover the target quickly? I assume you are using the standard 11" coil.

Good job on the gold Don!! Cant wait to get out with my GG underwaters. I heard I will be getting them on Tuesday or Wednesday. Now only to get in the water. Hopefully my NDT's will work on the CTX but I have to go visit Gary at Detectorpro to get them fixed. He's awesome and really stands behind his warranty. Best of all is he's also a local. I will have to make due for now with the underwaters on land with the sadness of losing the wireless audio. Oh well.......still beats those Koss. GL & HH Joe
