Went with Kevin on my boat to lake St Clair. The same place I found the bomb. No new bombs RATS but I did find this very nice wedding set 14K 6.51 grams with a nice diamond. Looks to be about half a karat. Will find that out tomorrow. Water is getting colder. Pulled my boat out today (that stinks). Might go out in it again before I winterize it.

None of the coins are old. The watch is a Faded Glory, That's for sure its waterlogged!! the old metal lure has writing stamped on it Canadian something. Very weak.

Thanks for reading

Beautiful ring, the old lady is bummed that I didn't find it so she could have it. Congrats. The water is getting cold.

Diamond is real, clear no visable blemishes and was measured to be a 3/4 karat!! Second biggest diamond I have found so far.

Thank you all. The ring is at my jewlers getting cleaned. Will post a better picture tomorrow. The picture has it on a 50 cal machine gun shell.

Plymouthian12, you get enough gold for me to drool over!!

I have a scoop, Still can wade in the water, although I just love fanning the sand and seeing my finds. Water is only 4' deep where we have been detecting so wading isn't a problem. Just hauling a heavy scoop, putting it in the right place, digging, lifting it up, shaking it out, YECH!! So nice to fan your hand and see a beautiful gold circle!!

I know, its so easy a cave man can do it.

Almost 6 grand in gold and silver this year, Not one of my better ones. Maybe I can find a bit more before the snow flies. I did get some very cool other finds though. I haven't called the police department that has the gun I found for a while. They had an officer killed 2 weeks ago. First one in that city in the line of duty. All the civil war buttons, bullets and bayonet are going into a display this winter.

I will be restoring the bomb sometime this winter also. Its too cool a find to leave dented and missing fins.

Nice looking ring, there has to be one like that waiting for me in the lake where I live in Alberta, Canada. The fish hook likes like the "Canadian Wiggler" a very popular walleye hook in Canada,
