I finally got some real quality time with the new girl. What can I say, it is like an ACE 250 on Steroids!!! . I love how fast it responds to you, the headphones are so comfortable. I forget that I have them on, YES that good to me! Today I detected for about two and a half hours. The only thing I have problems with is I sometimes have a bit of an issue pinpointing so I'm just using the tip of my coil. It makes it easier for some targets. I guess I'm so used to my X-Terra 70 that I need to put more hours on this one.
This bad girl is so strong that I even take three notches off the power and I get some great depth. I was getting just clad and LOTS of our favorites and it had already been two hours and twenty minutes. I got a hit of 75-76 at about 6 in. I completely thought it was gonna be junk. I made my 6 inch hole with my screwdriver just big enough for the target. (LOVE THE TECHNIQUE) Flip the target on its side, Shoved my long needle nose pliers in and what a shock!!! On its way out I had a moment of AWWWWW!!! since I never pull one of those huge Penny coins and I don't know what reading it would give on this bad girl, but then I saw the little tip of it and I was like this is a medal of some kind. That kept me still excited though, I love finding medals and other cool stuff. So to the point it is a Cool Notre Dame de Paris metal with some numbers 1165-1330. I tried to find something about it on line but no luck. Oh Well, still freaking AWESOME!!! If anyone has some input on it, I'll be grateful.
So for the catch of the day a total of 2.49 cents and a very cool medal!!! Happy my peeps!
