Well to make a long story short... I was helping my sister paint today... will waiting on paint coats to dry i decided to head off to the park for some treasure hunting! It seems that any more i cant find a thing unless i go after a good soaking rain... I was just in this area before we got a couple days of rain and didn't find a thing!!!! This particular stop in the park is kind of interesting. I have been pulling coins out of this area for the last year and a half... It has about 6 inches of dirt, then 4 inches of gravel, then dirt again... Everything "good" is underneath that layer of gravel... The very first coin i dug was a deep deep signal that had the silver ring to it... And sure enough... Popped out a 1899 barber dime  Then i got a couple wheats as well as a 1899 Indian... But the best thing of all was when i came around the side of this small tree and got a DEEP low signal.. Thought for sure it was going to bee a crusty old nickel... Dug and dug half way to China and about fell flat on my back when i got a glimps of gold :yikes: Then i was in disbelief because i dont find gold,,, It had to be fake.... Well sure enough she is REAL !!! Found my first gold ring... I have been waiting a while on this one guys.. I have dug nickel after nickel looking for one of these beauty's ...
Thanks for looking everyone!!!!!

Nice going Derrelld.:super: Got that first gold ring under your belt and more to come I'm sure. I dig a ton of low tone signals and have a nice collection of gold jewlery to show for it. I remember my first gold ring. A wide gold ban and a gold chain to boot. Good luck on your next outing. HH.
