Finally found a ring, a SAC dollar, and a fair pile to go with it..

Went to visit a friend in a small town outside of Portland today and I hit a couple of soccer fields while there and rounded this mess up with the 1500. Got an SS ring and a homemade bracelet.

So far I have about 35 of them. A fellow I know has me beat by a mile. The kids here lose them in the playgrounds and ball fields. I keep waiting for folks to lose the new GW dollars.

No one I know, including me. People will have to hoard them for awhile before they spend any - just like they did with the SAC dollars. They minted over a billion of the SAC's and you see how few have turned up. People are brain dead if they think they will ever be scarce and worth anything. The mint even spent $40 million on an ad campaign to convince people to spend them. It didn't work.

Good stuff there Bill. As for Sac's. I've found 13 so far. Less than a year tecting. Then again I found 9 of them in one park where they used them for game prizes. Sorry......eheehe...

You lucky dog you. Most I ever found was three in a pile. I think I've got 36 or 37 SACS now. Actually two or three are the ugly Susan B's. I'm waiting for folks to start losing the new ones if I live long enough to see it.
