Finally found a coin on my want list! And its my oldest coin to date! :clapping:

On Friday I went to an old abandoned house that I was told about and decided to do a little detecting! About 15 min in I got a super solid nickel signal right on the surface. I figured it was just going to be a new nickel or possibly a bullet casing. But once I pulled it up i realized that it was an older nickel. I was talking to myself saying "please be a V or shield" "please be a V or shield" well I wiped it with a little spit and sure enough there was a V right in the back. As it turned out it was a 1895 which is now my oldest coin dug by 1 year! So i got 2 new records for me! I searched for another 2 or so hours with no more luck. But the trip was well worth it!

Thanks everyone! Records are made to be broken! So im planning on breaking that record this year with a seated coin! At least thats my plans anyways, that would be another on my want list!

Yep I dig every solid coin signal I get, I like weats! I usually dig most pop can tabs also for about the first hour or so then i get sick of digging them lol
