FINALLY... First Indian!

Well, still no pics which sux but since I've been hooked on m/d I've always wanted to dig a IH. It's been close to a year now and have had some luck with silver, rings, and cool doodads! Yesterday went back to a school I've hunted quite a few times in the past and recently popped a ring out with the ATP. So first hit I got was at the edge of the sidewalk and it was a deep signal. After propointing, it ended up being 8" deep and in bad shape but the date read 1904! Later on I also got wheaties. 42,47,52. Most all old pennies were right at the edge of the sidewalk . H/H

Congratulations! It's fun to check one off the wish list. Funny, I can't seen to BUY an Indian Head. I've found all the Barber denoms, lots of Mercs and Wheaties, a few Buffalo nickels, a 1890 "V" nickel - even a few vintage Mexican pesos and a few European coins, but no IH's, and here I am in the middle of Indian country, heh. (Of course, I'm not primarily a coin shooter - more of a relic / ghost towner. )

I've only found one IH, a 1901 in my front yard. Thought I would post a photo, but it was a bad picture.
