Great diggers and Brian at Southern Treasure is a good guy to deal with !!!!
Congrats on the new digger, You have been digging so many items you wore the other one out :D

I couldn't believe how you wore that other one out :)

I drove to a park tonight to get in an hour or so... got to the park and realized ALL my diggers are in my bag. Never unpacked them from the Gettysburg trip. :( Oh well... :) Kinda tired anyway.

Steve,

I've used a Lesche digger for a year and a half now. I don't think I'll ever use another digger. I got mine from David at Dixie. My two relic hunting buddies have seen its superior performance, and a week ago, both of them got one each for their own use. We all use the D-Handle. I have never used such a tough gadget for digging through roots up to two inches or so with no problem... cutting through hard packed clay and prying it upwards... it is impressive.

Good luck with its use in finding great things!

God Bless,

Kim

I should have read through some posts, huh? I have one of those as well. I was talking about the stainless 42" D-handle sharp shooting shovel. The digger that you have pictured does not do a whole lot of good for Civil War Relic hunting in the heavy timber and bottom lands where we do most of our hunting. Some here may have wondered how I was cutting two inch roots with the one you showed! LOL

I can see where it would be an excellant tool for coin and jewelry recovery though. I got one at the same time I got the Lesche Shovel, and have carried it some with me relic hunting.

We're hunting quite a bit in a wide river bottom.... heavily timbered, and digging bullets down to 11 and 12 incehs deep. I really prefer the sharp shovel in lieu of the digger in these instances.

God Bless,

Kim
