Wow! I used it for the first time today, and it works great.I have had a few junk pinpointers, and the Garrett blows them away. I have wanted one of these for two years, but couldn't justify $125.Now I can't imagine detecting without it!

Thats how I feel about the propointer. I can't picture hunting with out it:detecting:

I'm jealous!

I had a vib raprob order garret pro.
HOPE IT'S as good as my vibraprobe

OK, I was going crazy one day trying to locate a target my ACE 250 said "Hello, It's right there".
Got out my propointer. Kept sounding and vibrating on the slug of dirt I lifted from the hole.
Kept looking, nothing. Looked again, smoothing out the dirt, double checked with the propointer - nothing.
I thought "What is this the Twilight Zone"?

I finally found it. #8 bird shot, just one. Same color as dirt and just as valuable.
Same scenario pointing on a BB or .22 bullet. Propointer will "point", just got to believe it's there.

I would have to say that the decision to pay $125 for a Pro Pointer was really hard to justify, when a whole detector of respectable quality costs just 2X of that price. Here it is 10 months later and I own two. I don't think I'd go hunt without it either. martin
