Finally big silver..

Got 7 wheaties( teens and twenties) from a local old field at 8 inch depths..But tonight my CZ3D pulled a 1950 Franklin Half. Proves areas never worked out as this field has seen many detectorists. Been getting an occasional silver dime but this one made my evening as only found several of them in almost twenty years of swinging..

Yep its one of the old ones with a lifetime waranty from the original Fisher ( if that means anything)...

Nice find Dan, a big silver coin looks good coming out of the hole! I always pocket my silver coins dirty, I can wait till I get home to see what it is after a light cleaning with soap amd water. You see these guys on you tube dry rubbing the silver coins they dig up while the vidio camera is taking it all in, that makes me cringe ( could be key date)................Hombre

nice find dan i have been metal detecting for 37yrs. purchased a cz-3d two years ago and would not trade it for anything. works great in those pre-1950s sites which is where i do most of my hunting .

Excellent find Dan.I dont remember the last silver half I found.been too long.Just now trying to get back into detecting after a lengthy layoff.Hope you find some more big silver!!
