Finally, a "Walker"...haven't found one of these in a loooooooooong time.

Got in a 2 hr. hunt this morning before the rain started.

Kind of cold out there, but still lots of fun to be out in the fresh air.

Found the "Walker" among the rocks near a pier; found the silver rings ( connected) in damp sand.

I'll be cleaning both later and will post a "cleaned -up " pic for those who may be interested.

Here's some pics...(including an antique silver barrett found yesterday...I thought it was another lead sinker when I first recovered it, until I turned it over and saw the remains of the barrette clasp.)

We have soooo many detectorists "hoovering" out beaches here in Fla. that I sometimes run my PI machine wide open for 30 mins (sometimes more) and don't so much as pick up a bobbi-pin ! I am amazed that such a big target was still sitting there. Great stuff.
