Finally a member of the Explorer family

Got an Explorer II last weekend. Been too dam hot to even bring outside but plan to get some hunting in this weekend.
I am also ordering Andy Sabisch's book on Explorers

I am thinking my best bet since I am new to Explorers is to do a factory reset and hunt slow. Would you folks recommend that for a newbie?

Also, I have a 10x12 SEF - should I use that first or the stock 10.5 coil?

Any suggestions are appreciated

IMO Andys book is a must, & this forum is too. It increased my ability & finds to no end. GL & HH

use the 10x12 SEF! you will never put the 10.5 on once you use the 10x12! and yes factory preset! im just now starting to venture alittle out of factory preset...it will all come to you, but dont give up!
