Finally a GOOD yard! Jim and I have Been knocking doors all week this was about the 8th or 9th yard this week and nothing but clad and wheats all week long!

We went back to the town we were at a few weeks ago and got permission for this yard. I got a 1907 Indian, war nickel, 1899 barber, 1918s SLQ, about a dozen wheats and over $3 bucks in clad. The marble was in a hole with a wheat. Was great to finally get onto a good property!

On the SLQ it is hard to see date in pic, Picture is taken with my iphone but you can see a real faint 1918 when your holding it in your hand.

Wow that was a great yard! I wouldn't even mind finding a dateless SLQ - the SLQ's have eluded me. Can't wait for the video (there will be video, won't there?).

Congrats on a great hunt !

Wow! you did a great job of cleaning up on the goodies!

I find the old saying "You can't judge a book by its cover" applies to yards also .I've hunted some very elaborate over 100 year old brick homes and found very little the turned around and hunted some old homes that looked as if whoever lived there didn't have much to lose and made a killing. You just never know.

That was a nice yard. Three silvers, an indian and a pile of wheaties was a nice return. The marble was a nice eye spy in the hole too.

It looks larger than most of the yards I see where I live with homes that size.
