I have dug so many pull-tabs in the park near my home in the last few weeks I almost quit digging 20s an 22s. I almost didn't dig a 20 today but it was a good solid sound from 4 sides so I gave it a shot. It was down 6", layin in the bottom of the hole when I pulled out the plug. 1906 V. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. My first one. Was using MXT with 950 coil, gain & disc on preset trigger center. Thanks for lookin, Ken

It looks to be in great condition too............congratulations.

nice coin .Here in Ohio vid 18,20 always nickel or ring some times 16;18 20 if nickel is red color from minerals so i wouldn't give up those 20s

Very nice coin Ken! I love those nickels!!! Glad to see you on the forum. HH, Nancy

Digging those solid 20 from all sides has proven well for me. I always dig them & it has paid off with several v nickles & two gold rings.

I'm not gona give up on the 20s yet, this park is so full of pull-tabs its crazy. They come in at 20 or 22 on my mach. I've been there with a 6x10 dd and that helps. was in an open area last night an desided to put on the 950, worked out good

I love the stock coil and after I've cleared what I can with it, I use the 5.3" coil. Others use the DD Eclipse 4X6 coil and it's a great coil too. It's ones own preference and the type of ground mineralization to which coil you use. Bottom line is the MXT is one great machine. :cheekkiss: HH to all, Nancy
