Finally a day to make me feel like James N.D.

I went to a local park today with Lee and Larry. I have hunted this park probably 50+ times with 10 or more different guys. I had NEVER seen a single silver coin dug in this park personally. I have heard stories of others finding lots of silver coins 30 years ago, but none recently.

I went in today telling myself that I was going to find silver this time out. Boy did I surprise myself today! I finished the day with 7 silver coins, 4 IH pennies, 3 wheats, a broken ring, a kennedy half dollar, Air Force wings with star pin. It was just one of those lucky days. The half dollar came out of the ground because I got a quarter signal laying on top of the ground.

Not much chance of a seated in most areas so I consider the 3 a grand slam find on dimes. Actually the 1883 would qualify if the year was for a seated, then it would really be an AAAA Grand slam. Those Indians are in pretty good shape also and along with everything else you had one heck of an outing. You Da Man Today, WTG

I see you have been busy and finding some really nice finds there Bgscofield6. Very Nice Finds Indeed! All that Silver in a Park that hasn't yeilded any Silver before by you, now that is LUCK! WTG! Seeing all that Silver has given me the itch to get out again. Too bad the area's around here a worked pretty much clean by me and countless others so I guess I will have to wait till this weekend. I can tell you this though, You better start pounding that Park pretty heavy now since you know what area you were in and see if there is any other nice old Silver finds and Indians waiting for your return trip. Nice Indians by the way! And one other thing, try not to show me up too much, Okay! Good Luck and HH.

James.... Yeah, it was just one of those days for me I guess. The two guys I was hunting with got some clad and one wheat penny combined for the entire day. One of them was also using an explorer. I just went over every coin the right way this time around.

Jack... Yeah, I can believe you got a Barber quarter out of here. There are good coins left, but just hard to come by. I've pulled lots of silver out of the other old park in town, but nothing like this before. I even got a SLQ at a different park in town earlier in the week. I'm up to 9 silver coins this week. I wish every week were this productive.
