Found three got 6 out of my good field all good nickle signals 12-13 12-14 6" deep the others look beat this one looks to be a 1929.
Can these be cleaned up without destroying them ??

You can use a green scrub bad to get it a little cleaner or this is one way using science..

Nice for sure, not sure best way to clean them though
 
I have dozens of Buffalo nickels. Probably 90% have an unreadable date. Bad design for a beautiful coin.
