They are from the 30's era...they are brass used to be gold plated. there was a radio show in the 30s-40s about fighter aces pilots, air force stories. It was hosted by a man named Jimmie Allen. Kids could send away for the wings to join his fan club called...The Flying Cadets, where they were sent these wings and henceforth became Cadets. The show was sponsered by Richfield Oil Co.
