Final finds of 2011

[Ed (Upstate NY)]

Hard to believe we're still digging in Upstate New York. Ground in sunny areas is frost free and only a slight frost in shaded spots. No snow what-so-ever. I noticed that Park Pirate and BRATNY were still digging so I gave it a try this afternoon. Did manage a nice 1905 Indian head cent and a 1916 wheatie. Might give it a try again tomorrow and see if I can get an early start to the 2012 coin totals. Happy New Year !!!

Jan 1st and no snow or frozen ground that's amazing! Good hunt though I still say you are overdue for a large cent.

That's a nice Indian Head cent - much nicer than what we typically find here in NE Ohio. Good luck in 2012!
