I see these filters that snap onto your cable near the box of the machine. Do these things work or is it just a money maker?, I would throw a link on here but I did not know if that was allowed. They are around 3-4 bucks and suppose to stop electrical interference
 
No one i know that has tested a ferret has found them to make a difference. If they did we would all be using them. You are lucky thou..... the Exp does as good a job as any machine on the market to noise cancel out EMI. Ive only ran into a couple of places i couldnt hunt.... around an electric fence and some underground lines.

Some people that use f75 use them. I tried it too when I had f75 but didn't keep long enough to notice a difference . I have real trashy spots to detect With lots of power lines so like to use explore/etrac. CB
