I figured out the detector today and was slaying coinage from a local park! I found numerous coins including a yr. 2000 Sacajawea ONE DOLLAR COIN!!!!!!!!!
I am stoked to go back when i have more time to throughly go through the park. I switched it to SALT mode and found that it was more accurate with the beeps, and locked on to targets better. +1 for the CZ3D!
It was found under the monkey bars!

Great Job!! Just goes to show learning your machine and having the patience to do so is the key to success.

that's really cool jetman, wev'e seen where you were thinking about buying a machine. then you bought one, and are now methodically depleting the local parks of the good stuff! so it's been a watch and see thing for us too! great job, and thanks for the post. hh,

Its an awsome way to get some exercise as well as see the local outdoors. I am going out today before work to the same park to go back over some spots. The only problem is having a stock of 9v batteries laying around!

You know I have been thinking about getting a diff. detector and one thing that stops me(besides the $ part) is having to by batterys again....I have one that has recharchable battery pack and it is awsome...no more running to the store....but I thought about it...can't we just buy rechargable batterys? Yes we can....but I am not sure about 9Volts.....you may want to look into it.

Jetman, your still new and a long ways to go.Later on you will be able to search in the enhanced mode.Don't burn yourself out the slow pace wins the race in this hobby.Keep a simple log on places you search and how old the coins are.The CZ likes old Silver coins most of the time they look like the day they were lost.
