Jeez Tabdog....you really put the hurt to that thing.
Something tells me propping up the garbage can lid with it was as much stress as that piece of junk was built for.
Thanks for the heads up.

I bought the Ames a few weeks ago...2' long and light as a feather...$7.00 wal-mart

Nice shovel here, i took it to the grinder and hand file it works great roots stones no problem. Its a WW2 Shovel

That's a good one.

Light and gets the job done if you know how to use it.

The one in the photo is my third one.

The first one I made too narrow and it broke. It was only three inches wide.

The next one I cut like this.

That works real well. I used it for 6 months and left it at a site. I bought the
folding camp shovel hoping it could replace old faithful.

But I went back and got one. It was $5 at Wollie-World. The first one was $4.

HH,

I used to have one of those and con not find it.

Thanks for the info.

HH,

I bought one of those too. Evertime I took a shovel full the thing would loosen up and try to fold. Yup, made in China. If I could of dug a hole, I would have buried the piece of junk. Ended up getting one of the Ames type shovels, works great, plus slips right into the baseball bat carrying bag I use to haul my stuff (Mizuno bag).

Made in China,hhhmmmm.
Recall for paint/plastic on toys,candy wrappers,dental work.
The shovel needs to be recall, looks like it has too much LEAD in it.

It looks like it would work perfect if you pushed it backwards about 2". I believe then it would be in its rightful place.
