Went out this morning to the field and competed with three others for the goodies. We found it all plowed up bringing a few more coins to the surface to be found. I rescued a dateless large cent. The others will post their treasure finds.
 
The only thing I found was a dateless cent as well, but mine has a flying eagle on it............:biggrin: A first for me.......:clapping:
 
I got skunked. I think this spring we need to turn the tables so I can visit your fields and you can get skunked! haha.
 
I wish I had a field to share with you. :sadwalk:
 
It's not a prerequisite. Any private property from 1830-1885 with no modern trash will work haha. Still plenty in the field to find. I'll get my coil over a goodie soon I just know it. Now I just need warmer weather or no wind.
 
We think a shield nickel was also found, waiting for confirmation.
 
Sounds like you guy's found a honey hole. Congrats on the scores.
