Field injuns and silver, ANOTHER 1st for Mrs G4E !!!!!

sunday was an awesome field day no doubt, I already posted my 1st hunt where I was alone. This hunt is from when my wife came home and wanted to go to the fields again.

I went to a field that I have hit I think 3-4 times before, looks like the farmer worked it a bit since last time I was there last fall.

I got the first coin 1898 indian, then she hollars she has a coin. I lay my detector down and hurry over to her, she says I think it is a large cent but can't tell and hands it to me. Yep sure enuff...Mrs G4E got her very first LC, a no date coronet.....pretty nice!

I managed 2 more indians and a pretty nice shape 1917 merc, and couple more crotal bells.

Today I hit an old farm for awhile and got the washington quarter and 1898 barber dime. All in all it was a superb weekend!

Like those Crotal Bells. Do they still ring? Big cents are fun to dig too. GREAT FINDS!!
yep sure do, each one has an iron ball inside and they sound kinda nice, each size rings a different tone

Another great field day. Keep it coming.
