Field hunt today netted a few keepers

went to a field today that still has not been planted, all the rain here is keeping the farmers out of the fields. Found a couple wheats 1958, and 1928. I almost hate finding wheats in a field, I am hoping they will be all indians. But not today......

I did get this button type item, not real sure what it is, has an eagle on it. Any clues anyone?

Congrats on the very good hunt! I really like the button item! very unique and different. I hope you get an ID on it, Beale.

I know that the eagle holding the anchor is Civil war era Naval button. I will have to check some records and I can gie you a more accurate respone.
