My daughter and wife have been collecting rescue animals again. 2 real nice ones and 2 not so nice. They are working on placing them now. This one is Cherokee. He was in real rough shape about 2 weeks ago but putting on weight now and doing much better.
Nice little horse, well trained. The story was he was used for roping and came from Oklahoma. They fell on hard times and send him off
with another one to auction. Make a great kid horse... Good on the ground, in the saddle...just got some age on him. The lady said she had papers on him there. 3 Bars and another Bars in there on the list..... They took him out yesterday on the trails and he was fine... Got another one here also, but he looks like he has shipping fever so he is at another pen across the street. That one my wife is liking. Also a quarter horse in what they call a Blue Roan color. Same deal, lack of funds, forces him to go. The black on in one picture is my wifes horse Ace. He is and older Missouri Fox Trotter. Gaited horse....really smooth if you have a bad back. He was a freebie also..and rescue... Heidi got one named Miller. Nice quarter horse...A-1 shape so I'm thinking she may keep him... Weather changed for the better again here and actually got a few flowers out....

Thats about here in CT. Lot of pollen out from the big oaks and maples.. Usually don't bother me, but is this year. Might be the meds with it, or body changing again.....Suphedrine seems to control it so good to go. Race night tonight at the club for members... Makes my day.

those poor animals are very lucky that you saw their plight. Makes me sad what has happened to good horses in this economy.

Well done George... Class all the way!!!
