Few odd jewlry finds...

These are all recent finds on "quickie" jaunts to playgrounds, mostly. I am developing some "Quanitiy Routes" for my area, ones that I can hit on a routine basis, as I normally only have a few hours max at any one time to hunt. I have started to grow fond of sand and woodchips...
Pic Notes:
> Golf bag thing is a money clip(no money - guy probably threw it away at that point...)
> The little ring above the bead chain is actually from an old house, which is sited in one corner of a large park. IT is a childs brass ring, with the mongram "H" in script - my last name starts with "H".
> The .22LR cartridge is for scale and interest...
> Note the little pink "Kitty" charm next to the bullet - it is SMALL. The 1350 rang out sweet and clear on that one...
> The dollar sign ring is sitting atop a .45 cal slug. I dumb assed and broke off one side of it trying to straighten it.
Only one of these things is of value, the large Victorian looking thing below the money clip. It's marked .925. The rest are just fun to find.
I've always wondered this question:
"Whats with all the bullets, any way?" I have a collection of them and I find them all over. I've found live 30-06 rounds, handfuls of dropped 9MM and scads of fired bullets of all kinds. Someday I'll find a whole gun, I guess...

Interesting stuff. And I know what you mean about the bullets everywhere. Unfired rounds, spent cartridges and bullets are everywhere. It always concerns me when I think about how many I've found in school yards, parks, athletic fields, and city streets. I'm a gun toter myself, but never in those places. HB

You never know where the land fill for those places came from. I've hunted in old parks that were the former site of shooting ranges and found all kinds of slugs..
