My friend has some land that has a creek running through it...problem is he has ticks and snakes...The snakes come out in April-Nov the ticks are there from about the same time. I have to spray myself with tick replentent and when I get home wash my cloths before I come into the house. I'm using a new program on the deus that is sick deep and I love to dig big iron so I spend a lot of time and energy hoping to find tools and such...the grass and weeds are starting to grow again and that is about a month early so I had to hit the area before the short season is over

Looks like a great hunt. we have problems with Deer ticks here. Not too good if they bit you. You always seem to find foreign coins no matter where you go.

Get yourself some Repel Permanone that you spray on your clothes and not your skin. You'll never have another tick or chigger on you again. And you won't have to deal with that bug spray greasy feeling either.

Nice relics Low....save some for me!

I work in the boonies 99% of the time mostly in the east where ticks and other biting insects reside. I use Ultrathon Insect Repellent ..... one treatment will last up to six weeks. I also will spray some 40% Deet on my waist band, collars and sleeve cuffs. PIA for sure but Lyme disease is worse.
