few from the past month

The old Plattsburgh Air Force Base and Fort Moreau. Made some great finds there, had permission and no one ever complained in the past. I had a buddy get kicked out this year and was told it is on the National Historic Registry. I hit a spot nearby on the base and was booted too and told the same thing. Apparently the part I was on was bought by a company called PARC. It is a shame as they just ripped up the tarmack for the old parade ground. I hit it soon after while there was still concrete in many spots. Now it is all ripped up and have to drive by it each day. Oh well. I got a merc a wheatie, the Golf Co. badge and 33 buttons in an hour and a half. Can only imagine what is still there as it is 100 ft. from a barracks dating to the 1790's. I may ask the people at the War of 1812 museum if I can go out with another person from the museum if I donate a detector for the day and give the finds to them minus a few pictures. It might work out.
