went to the old base to see if the X5 would produce some goodies from a spot I pounded with the DFX. I found 2 War of 1812 buttons there so figured I'd hit it for an hour before dark and low and behold there was light. Street lights I mean 
I had so much fun I stayed till 9:00. The X5 did find some goodies the DFx missed but no more buttons, YET! I found out how to use manual GB (the` right way) and noticed an xtra few " b/w it and Fixed GB. I didn't know if I had made the right decision trading for it as I had Tejon, Fisher CZ70 and other detectors offered, but it seems to be working and opening up the world of relic hunting even more.
