Few field finds, Walking Liberty Half

Back to the fields again. This field has been used for 200+ years. The thing that kills me is that with all the use, I have found so few coins. I definately think that they have been plowed over the years and everything is deep. Found a colonial button, clad dime, buckle of some sort, part of a Caterpillar bulldozer key chain, and this 1918 "s" Half. The half is worn but legible. I found it in conductive, manual at 28, multitones, fast on, deep off, my preferred settings.

The half was registering 12-47, to 1-39. Good chime both ways but a bit scratchy. I dug town about 8+ inches, nearly the full depth of the Garrett pointer and the half was off to the side of the hole. I think that it was on its side or an angle. Not a bad find for the last part of the season. Thanks for looking. HH
