Few dimes !

:help:
I have an unpleasant question.

I find very few dimes. Dimes are smaller than even cents and humans are supposed to lose many of them!

Where is the problem? How to increase output?

Please tell me. Tomorrow at 6 A.M. I go to the park , so I need to know the solution today. Tonight. Now!

Best thing you can do is put a dime on the ground and swing your coil over it. You'll have a great idea as to what the VDI number is. If using the stock coil, the VDI is around 79 usually. Good luck tomorrow! HH to all, Nancy

Thank you Nancy!

Like Nancy said dimes will read around 79 for me also. I find them lower to about 77 and higher to about 82. Pennies and dimes overlap their numbers but dimes sound a little quieter than pennies that are at the same depth. For example if I get a 78 , its 99% a dime or penny, but a 6" deep dime isn't quite as loud as a 6" penny. Sometimes I get fooled but it doesn't matter because I'm digging those numbers anyway. I usually find at the end of the day my dime count is not that far behind my pennies (real pennies). Rob

Interesting, as lately for some reason I've been finding quite a few dimes. Some times it's just a matter of what's in the ground or not at any given spot. It seems at times that I'll get a run heavy to nickels, another time quarters etc. and of course, lots of pennies most any time. I dig em most of the time as eventually they do add up.
