Ferrous vs conduct tones

I'm new to the e-trac and have been using the TTF settings. Today while doing some testing I noticed there was no difference in tone on a mercury dime between ferrous and conduct with two tone, Is this normal? I tested on the emulator with my exact settings and there was a definite difference.

when you were in "conductive sounds" did you still have it in two tone? that's probably the reason. when you switch to conductive sounds you didn't switch tones to "multi". so you got the same tone for the low FE in TTF and then the same tone for the high CO in conductive two tone.

OK, Im surprised I answered your question correctly, the terminology can be very confusing when its written down instead of spoken face to face with someone. good luck with your machine.
