Ferrous/Conductive numbers on civil war relics?

Just wondering if anyone has used the Etrac for hunting civil war relics. I am going on a hunt in Virginia next month and I am having some trouble finding the different numbers for the various types of civil war relics. Has anyone used the Etrac in Virginia soil? If so how does it perform in the soil there? I am just looking for a litle advice in preparing to go I would like to know as much as I can.

Thank you,
Jason
