Ferrite EMI Suppression Core

Are any of you using any type of "Ferrite EMI Suppression Core " , ( like these) on your machines ? If so , how well do they work ?

If they did anything or were needed for better detector operation, the manufacturers would have put them on. White's does have them on some coils sold in Europe, but not to increase performance but to comply with their EMI specifications.

These were discussed in detail on the Modifications forum earlier in the year.
 
I use one on my F70. I find it lets me run a minimal amount more sensitivity ( about 10 to 12 more) in some troublesome areas I detect with high EMI. Many people tell me I'm full of it by using one...oh well...they can think what they want. I can tell it does help, albeit a small amount, in my situation/detector/locale. Your mileage may vary.
