Ferdinand VII Found with strange markings????? Help!

I found this detecting some time back, and have found out it is a Ferdinand VII 1816 Half Escudo coin, but unlike any I have seen, it has a J on the left side of Ferdinand's profile, and an 8 on the right. Please help.

The J indicates the coin was struck at The National Mint of Jubia
