Female soldiers on the Battlefield

Alissa sent this to me because for years I have always opposed women serving in combat. Not because I'm a sexist or narrow minded, but because some of the things I've seen and was trained to do. I'm not trying to start WWIII out here, but I just wanted to share the article with all of you and to ask that we all pray collectively.

Let us pray that the Lord watch over all of our soldiers who defend our country, as we unfortunatley and sometimes unknowingly reap the benefits of their sacrifice.

Let us also pray for a hedge of protection around all female soldiers who will be unfortunately entering into battle. May the Lord protect them and keep them from harms way. We pray in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

Thank you for reading and God Bless.

WOMEN IN COMBAT

Hey Sarge,
In agreement with you concerning women in combat. I served during the Vietnam war and it was hard enough to witness women in support roles, such as nursing , let alone seeing them serving in a combat situation.

P.S. Interesting reading. It's clear how far our nation has wandered from the Christian values we were founded upon. I have little faith in the Obama administration and it's clear what little value he places upon Christians let alone women.

Yes and how about his daughters going into battle, for children fighting against the enemies will be next...like 3rd world countries, which Obama is causing America to be! As far as he is concerned, he wants us to be an Islamic nation and Muslims aren't peaceful...which has been told and shown over and over...some are peaceful but most aren't! My prayers are for no more wars with Obama and his family having changed hearts with Christianity making new creations out of them and also many in Congress and state gov'ts need to be saved and turn from their sinfully, wicked thoughts and ways! May God bless and be with His own in the USA to keep women and eventually children from serving in wars, especially, on the front lines!

If women want to choose to serve, then may they serve where it is less dangerous for them and May God protect all of our Military men and women while serving in harms way! Amen! Ma

I agree and I never knew about the women of Ireland standing in front of their cowardly husbands and even with babies in their arms....I am of Irish decent and glad I live in America and wasn't born when my ancestors were still living in Ireland at the time that this craziness was going on! Wars bring out the worst in people and leaders who follow orders and are placed in harms way! Thanks Greg for the article! Ma

Greg,

I haven't read the attached article yet but I will when I have time. I agree with you. I do not think women should be on the battlefield. I don't think most women are as physically strong as men or have the mindset to endure the hardships of the battlefield. I have to wonder how many men would be willing to go on and leave a wounded female in the heat of battle (because most men have been programed to be the protectors)? And what about sexual assault by the enemy (or even by our own troops)? I'm all for females being in on the planning/strategic stuff, the technical stuff, as well as support roles, but not on the battlefield itself.

Lisa, I think you just picked my brain and posted for me :) I agree that women lack physical and emotional endurance for battle. Not saying that there aren't a few exceptions to this in both sexes, but as a whole, I believe this is how GOD created us.

Greg, yeah this isn't a good idea for us as a nation because it just tells the enemy how much respect we have for our women!
Women been helping in the military for many years but, to put them in a compromising position in close hand to hand combat
is not a wise decision but, how many wise decisions has this administration made
