dusted off the Discovery 3300 and got out for 3 hrs.Got a total of $ 5.91 including 18 quarters,11 dimes and two nickels,21 pennies including a 40's wheatie and a nice sterling St Christopher medal.I wanted to use something very liteweight and just go for surface stuff and the 3300 did just dandy))

I bought the discovery 1100 for my son and he is finding some stuff at the playgrounds so far. It is a little hard to pinpoint, but what do you expect for the money! He enjoys it, which is worth it! Good luck on your finds!
