Hello all, I am new to swinging as you call it, I cant wait to get out there and try out my Garrett CX plus and see if it is as good as some viewers seem to think it is. I was hoping to find somebody in Waterville Maine area that is into this as well, somebody I can talk to about prospecting. So if anyone watching is from this area, please let me know.

I'm in the Bangor area, but swing an ACE 250. Nevertheless, if you ever want to talg detecting or get together when the ground thaws drop me a line at:
jwm1955@gmail.com
I'm hoping for warm weather!

Ok thanks:
I know this damn snow is getting boring, can't wait for spring. What is the differece between ACE250 and my Master hunter CX plus? I got a treasure hound with mine as well, don't know how well that works.

The good part of having the master cx plus is that now you have a deep machine when looking for caches. But I think is better the 250 for coins and shallow targets less than 12 inches. I have both of them. I want to buy now a water machine so that I can go beach combing as well as to work in the water. Welcome to the forum and keep swinging it.

From the land of the Bluenose.....if no luck here try this link which is a Maine based metal detecting forum.

Hey Jimbo:wave:Welcome to the forum! You ask what the difference is between the Ace 250 and CX Plus. Here is a link to a side by side comparison on KellyCo website. For more detailed information on either detector, just click on the "more info" link at the bottom of the column with detector specifications.

Best of luck to ya!:wiggle:Happy Hunting!:)

It did for me too. When I heard somebody calling it swingers I thought I must have accidentally clicked on a different website, but after reading for a little bit, I discovered many people calling it swinging
so yeah, I'm a new swinger.
