February Sunday Hunt

GoGoGopher

New member
The sun was shining, the wind was not too bad, and the temps were tollerable...Who would have thought this in February in New York?
Hunted a Middle School near me for 2 1/2 hours...not much to be had...Saw another hunter, but when he saw us on the field, he retreated...His loss I guess...
Oldest coins were 1941 and 1953D wheats...Have no idea what the half a bearing race looking thing is...It bends like pewter, but looks like a bearing race...pretty design for that though. It rang up a solid 70 on the AT Pro.
Any Ideas?

Happy Hunting,

Hey GOGO are you putting together much of a coin count so far this year? the weather has been really mild around the country I'll bet alot of us will have some decent counts and finds by spring. I have been passing up some good hunting time while trying to find some decent spots to hunt. And I found a couple of spots with great prospects. So I plan on stepping away from the clad hunting and getting into the woods. will be posting some pics of one place I have hi hopes for. Best of luck to you this season GoGo.:detecting:

I am up to $8.95 already for 2012...this does not count the Canadian coins, wheats, or crusty zincs...I do nto include them in my totals, as the Better Half Claims all my wheats, the Zincs get put in a bucket for recycling, and the Canadian coins get put in their own bucket as well, until it is full, then I take em to the bank. This total is strictly clad...I also do not count my silver coins...They get put in a container until I have enough to cash in...

HH,
